Coming up soon is a very important event called Earth Hour. Earth hour happens on 29th March , when people all over the world turn off their lights for one hour to raise awareness for the planet. It shows the power of us all working together. Many projects could not be successful if there were just a few people working hard. If we all work together, we are much powerful! If lots of people just do a little bit, then we can achieve much more!

WildlifeKate did an assembly all about WWF and Earth hour and we watched a video….

We were also very lucky as she had been sent one of only 60 special pandas that are part of a scheme  called #passthepanda to teach about Earth Hour. The panda (called Chloe!) visited our classrooms throughout the day and took part in all the exciting things that were happening in school. It was our fund-raising day for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, so we were all dressed up as doctor’s, nurses and patients! This panda will joining WildlifeKate on her travels and will help children learn more about Earth  Hour and how they can sign up to take part.
