With Autumn approaching fast, and the sun still shining, Photography Club headed to Hartshill Hayes in search of some Autumnal colour and some fungi. We had to search a bit, but found some emerging from some of the tree stumps. WildlifeKate showed us how to look for a shot and compose it, thinking about what is in the foreground and sometimes having something that leads the eye into the shot. This could be a branch or a log. We also learnt that the main subject does not always need to be in the centre of the shot and it sometimes works well if it is at the side. We also tried to get some really low angles on our shots.
We loved being out in the Hayes and got very enthusiastic about our photography… the only problem was, the time went way too quickly and we had to come back… we didn’t even have time to upload our images… we will have to save that until next week!
