The Green Team were keen to get outside and see how many birds they could identify! With clipboards in hand and binoculars around their neck, we excitedly headed out into the school grounds to see what we could see.
We scanned the field at first and could see a black headed gull and a carrion crow.
We then headed to the field feeding station. Sitting patiently behind the screen, we watched the feeders. We were treated to some fantastic views of the gorgeous goldfinches on the niger feeders.
We all thoroughly enjoyed being out and about and being part of The Big School Birdwatch!
