Green Teams and Outdoor Explorers’ Club both took advantage of the lovely Autumnal sunshine and headed out and about to look more closely at the gorgeous colours. Armed with a piece of card and a strip of double-sided tape, the pupils had to search for different colours in the leaves. Starting with the palest yellow they could find, they had to gradually get darker trying to create a rainbow of different shades and hues. They broke off tiny bits of leaf and stuck them onto the tape…..
The finished results were quite spectacular!!
WildlifeKate is going to make these into lovely bookmarks for us!
The Outdoor Explorers took it one step further by going into the Hayes and using their strips to collect whatever caught their eye… interesting natural objects. …
We had a lovely time exploring and discovering the wonders of the natural world right on our doorstep!
